Dayton Power & Light Fuel Assessment
Vantage Consulting, Inc. was selected to conduct a management/performance assessment of the fuel procurement policies and practices of Dayton Power & Light (DP&L). This review covered 2 one-year periods from February 1, 1996 to January 31, 1997, and February 1, 1997 to January 31, 1998. This project was set forth in the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) Request For Proposal (RFP) No. U96-EFC-1.
The overall objective of this management/performance assessment is to develop a sound basis of information regarding DP&L’s policies and practices related to fuel and purchased power during the designated time frames. This information and evaluation assisted the PUCO in hearings to rule upon the reasonableness of DP&L’s rates.
